Clariant, a leading company in specialized chemicals, has reached a significant milestone in its China strategy by appointing Fu Cai Wang as the new China President, effective from December 1, 2018. In this capacity, he serves as the Business Unit Head for Clariant's operations in China. Fu Cai Wang transitions to Clariant from Arkema, where he held the roles of Asia Pacific Regional Group President for the Fluorochemicals Business Unit and President of Arkema Hebei Casda Biomaterials Co. Ltd. The addition of Fu Cai Wang fulfills the 'Local Empowerment' component of Clariant's dedicated 5 Locals (5Ls) strategic framework, which was established to advance the company.
