The CIBMTR, known as the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research, operates as a collaborative research effort between the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP)/Be The Match and the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Its primary goal is to work with the global scientific community to advance hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and other cellular therapy on a worldwide scale in order to enhance patient survival and improve quality of life. The CIBMTR plays a key role in facilitating essential observational and interventional research with its scientific and statistical expertise.
