Sekhmet Pharmaventures

Gamot API serves as the parent company of Sekhmet Pharmaventures Pvt. Ltd. PAG, a prominent private equity firm in Asia, has established Gamot API Pte. Ltd., an investment platform headquartered in Singapore, in collaboration with Indian private equity companies, CX Partners and Samara Capital, for the purpose of acquiring interests in rapidly growing pharmaceutical companies in India. The Indian counterpart of Gamot API operates under the name Sekhmet Pharmaventures Pvt. Ltd. Sekhmet Pharmaventures made a significant investment in Anjan Drug Pvt. Ltd., based in Chennai, in October 2020. Additionally, Sekhmet Pharmaventures acquired a substantial stake in the Optimus Drugs Group of Companies in May 2022.
