Mogrify has created a unique cellular conversion technology, enabling the direct transformation of any mature human cell type into another without requiring pluripotent stem cell- or progenitor cell-state. Using data from next-generation sequencing & regulatory networks (DNA-protein & protein-protein), the platform employs a systematic big-data approach to identify the transcription factors (in vitro) or small molecules (in vivo) necessary for cell conversion. This approach allows Mogrify to tackle challenges related to efficacy, safety, and scalability by bypassing the stem cell-stage of cell transformation.
