IBSA is a privately-held pharmaceutical company, established in Lugano in 1945. Due to a well-established expansion plan, IBSA distributes its products across 5 continents and more than 90 nations, including countries in Europe, China, and the United States. The group currently has 2,000 employees working in various offices and production facilities spanning 17 subsidiaries located in Europe, China, and the United States, while 14 Research and Development laboratories employ 125 individuals. Presently, the IBSA Group holds 90 patent families, with additional patents in the pipeline.
