Galien LPS

Galien® LPS, established in December 2015 by Galien Pharmholding group, operates two manufacturing facilities in France that were acquired from Teva in March 2016. The company is headquartered in Nevers, located in the Nièvre district, and has a second plant in the Burgundy region, situated in Sens, Yonne district. Originally founded by the L. Lafon laboratory in 1992, the Nevers site specializes in oro-dispersible forms produced through freeze-drying, known under the LYOC® brand. It manufactures Spasfon-LYOC® and VOGALENE®LYOC® brands for Teva, and VOGALIB® for the P&G-Teva joint venture. The Nevers site also extends its expertise to the markets of Africa and the Middle East. The Sens site specializes in packaging dry forms and offers various pharmaceutical services, including artwork and label creation, change management, technical writing of variations to the M.A.F., and handling of latest analytical techniques in the QC laboratory, as well as stability storage capacities. With a dedicated workforce of 175 individuals committed to quality and service, Galien® LPS aims to establish itself as a significant player in the C.M.O world in the coming years.
