Cari-Med Group Limited Was launched in 1986 as Cari-Med Limited, a small pharmaceutical distribution company with three employees. In those early days, the founders Glen and Marva Christian were driven by the mission of offering affordable drugs for Jamaican consumers. Partnering with the Canadian based company Apotex, they distributed high quality generic drugs in the local marketplace. With a growing reputation for excellent customer service, the company soon began to attract the attention of other international principals such as GSK, Novartis, Merck-Sharp, Astra Zeneca, Abbott and Bayer.
