Bionic Sight

Bionic Sight's technology is focused on restoring vision for individuals experiencing advanced stage blindness caused by retinal degenerative diseases. The foundation of this technology lies in a breakthrough made by Dr. Sheila Nirenberg, who is a professor at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She successfully decoded the neural pattern of the retina, which is essentially the language the retina uses to convey visual information to the brain. Dr. Nirenberg's groundbreaking work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the esteemed MacArthur Genius Award.
