Established through a collaboration between Mitsui & Co., Ltd. and Nikken Chemicals Co. Ltd. with the aim of producing sugar-based polyol products (initial capital: 100 million yen). Commenced operations at Nagoya Plant in Chita City, Aichi, and initiated the production of sorbitol and ESWEE, a hydrogenated starch hydrolysate.
