AYUMI is a recently established pharmaceutical corporation. It originated from the acquisition of Santen Pharmaceutical’s rheumatism division in August of 2015 and Showa Yakuhin Kako’s medical segment (inclusive of its analgesics division) in December of 2015. The term “AYUMI” translates to “steps” in Japanese and signifies our aspiration to empower patients to independently move away from discomfort. Our endeavor is to enrich the lives of patients by delivering a continuous flow of comprehensive information on rheumatism and orthopedics, aiming to enhance the overall quality of life and gain societal respect.
