Motivated by the potential to save countless women's lives globally, in 2010 two Cal Poly biomedical engineering students embarked on creating an ultimate solution for PPH. Their idea resulted in a device that emulates the natural uterine contractions to swiftly halt bleeding. After thorough research, development, and collaboration with the Cal Poly Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Fogarty Institute for Innovation, the initial concept evolved into the Jada® System—the flagship product of Alydia® Health.
