Agis was established in 1961 by Mr. Ziama Arkin as the authorized importer of pharmaceuticals from various international companies in Israel. Following Mr. Ziama Arkin's passing in 1972, his son Mori, who was then 19 years old and serving in the IDF while pursuing a degree in Psychology, assumed leadership. In 1994, Agis acquired Clay Park, obtaining its initial manufacturing facility and marking the commencement of a new phase in drug development and production. With Mori Arkin at the helm as the primary shareholder and chairman of the board, Agis (1983) Ltd. entered a new chapter.
